Legal Question in Employment Law in India

sir

I have joined as PWM in 1400-2300/- grade in Indian railways in 1993 ( 4th CPC ) . Our promotional grade was PWI-lll in 1400-2300/- scale . In 5th CPC both cadre separated with scales 4500-7000/- & 5000-8000/- . Further as anomaly Rs 100/- given to PWMs as personal pay . Later the PWMs promoted to a new cadre called Sr Track Supervisor in pay scale 5000-8000/- in 2008 . Again the post Sr track supervisor merged with JE (earstwhile PWI -lll) 17.03% wef 1.11.2003 & rest wef 22.03.2007 . In 6th CPC pay fixation done at grade pay Rs 4200/- . Implementing the 6CPC ruling ( MACPs ) pay fixation done at grade pay 4600/- wef 01.09.2008 considering 10years service without promotion on dtd 01.03.2003 . Now Rly administration given notice for recovery of amount paid due to erroneous fixation .
