If the sole executrix of a will died while in the process of proving the will, who continues to prove the will?

If the sole executrix also had a will and appointed an executor, the executor can administer both wills by virtue of chain of representation. If the chain is broken then any beneficiary can apply for Letters of Administration with Will annexed.
