Legal Question in Business Law in Alabama

6 months ago I paid $900 as a down payment on a 2003 Dodge Neon. When I went to purchase the car the transmission was not working correctly. The dealer offered to have the car fixed with no extra charge and let me borrow another one of his vehicles off the lot until mine was fixed. I went by the dealership every Saturday with no sign of my vehicle that I had purchased. It has been 6 months and he has now repossessed the vehicle that I had borrowed, leaving me with no way to work. I've heard that he has resold my vehicle that I had purchased. What can I do? Can I get the $900 down payment back that I had put down on the vehicle that I never received?

You must sue the owner of the car lot.
