Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Alabama

Hi! I have a question in reference to a product that I found in a big name retail store that I thought was a racial product. I was very offended by the product. I was stunned by the racial name that was labeled on the product itself. I am an African American and that product made reference to that. To be almost 2010, I thought that this was very offensive in this day and age. What can be done about this? Could there be a lawsuit or can anything be done or file in complaint to this product? This product is currently on shelves and being sold to consumers.

I am curious to know what was this racially offensive product. The only ethnic products I can think of in retail stores are in the hair/beauty/cosmetics aisles, and those products cater to different types of hair and skin. I'm curious to know, if you want to send me an email.

There is no lawsuit here. You can certainly make a complaint to the manufacturer of the product. The product packaging must state either the US manufacturer or distributor, and most products have a 1-800 number you can call. The only other think I can think is that the NAACP may get involved if you send them a complaint.
