Legal Question in Technology Law in Arizona

Unpaid web designer fees

I built a website for a beef jerky company back in may without a written contract. I did inform them in emails of the prices and terms of payment. Due to non-payment, I disabled their site on sept 1st, to prevent them from infringement on my design. I promptly recieved a letter from their attorney stating intent to sue for breach of fudiciary duty, extortion, theft, and interference. I promptly restored their site b/c I dont have the time to deal with the issue. Revenge: thier is a local street fair coming up where they have a booth to sell their products, Their are usually many petitions and demonstrators their. Can I stand near their booth with a sign that says, ''dont buy from them, they dont pay their webmaster'', or can the possibly pursue further legal action for loss of sales or slander? Or is their a better choice of words?

Re: Unpaid web designer fees

How much do they owe you? Did your email terms include atty fees + interest?

I would do a Demand letter for flat fee.
