Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

What is the Arizona law on a parent whom has been court ordered to pay child support and hasn't for 2 years, being 2 years in arrearangs on being able to claim the child on a tax return?

The answer is he cannot. You should and if he does as well, the IRS will flag it and he will then have the headache of refiling.

He is not, by law, permitted to claim the child. However, if he does anyways, you will have to take him to Court. You also have the right so seek contempt charges against him, and seek to have him incarcerated until he pays some substantial amount towards the arrears.
