Can one wipe out FTB and IRS "debts" (back taxes) under Chap. 7 bankruptcy?

11 USC 507 and 523 list criteria for income-tax dischargeability. Said criteria are sufficiently numerous and subtle-- and merit analysis of tax account transcripts--that I would not suggest or rely upon inherently-piecemeal Internet input. In sum, they can be wiped out sometimes, but I would consult with a bankruptcy specialist to ascertain whether YOUR tax debts are dischargeable.
