Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

The Bank Paid a Check Twice!!!

Now my account is over drawn. Over $1100 in penalties and charges have accumulated on a $629 over payment. This over payment involved an electronic transfer to a deliquent credit card account, which I might add was 2X my min. payment to become current and was assured my card would be reinstated, didnt happen. But they did refund my $629 but they and my bank both insist that they hold no responsibility. What now? When I made a $500 deposit prior to the discovery of error it disappeared and I assume all my money will if I keep feeding the kitty. I need advise on both situations. The credit card company is in Delaware I believe.

Re: The Bank Paid a Check Twice!!!

Sounds like you need to sue the bank and also get a new bank.
