Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

I am received a Complaint regarding an unpaid credit card bill. I realize I am legally responsible for paying this bill and am not attempting to deny the charge. However, I am currently unable to pay the full amount. How shall I respond to the complaint? I live in California. The summons requests that I respond within 30 days. I fear a judgment rendered against me and garnishment of my wages. I would appreciate any assistance.

Filing the answer is not difficult, but you should do asap.

We have prepared a DIY California Debt Defense Guide, which walks you through every step of litigation, so you may successfully defend yourself and your business -- even if the debt alleged is legitimate. The guide includes every form you will need as well practical tips regarding settlement. In addition, purchase of the guide comes with a 1/2 hour phone consultation with an attorney if you have questions along the way.

If after using our guide you are unable to have this case dismissed, or if you can not settle the case for 50% or less of what they demand, we will refund your money, no questions asked.

Even if you decide not to use our guide, I strongly suggest you do not let them collect a default judgment against you.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Regards,

Bryan

It may be easy to file a mediocre pleading, but for a pleading that actually provides an aggressive defense you must include affirmative defenses. Money back guarantee for the purchase of a book is no consolation for thousands of debt. My firm provides complete defense to these types of suit for a small flat fee and often results in reduction of the principle or dismissal of suit. Contact me directly.
