Legal Question in Family Law in California

International Move Away with Child

My question is;

I just got divorced in March 06, We have a 3yr old son togethere. I have legal and physical custody. I am Australian and want to move back to my country. The father is American and is against me taking our son to Australia. We just went through a 730 evaluation and the phycologist recommended to the judge that i not go back to Australia with our son. I have read the report and think the doctor made several mistakes about our case and do think it is fair. OUr court date to review this in front of the judge, who happens to be a new one, is on the 13th of July. The father was also convicted of domestic violence of me before we separted and pays no child support because he is unemployed and living with his mother. What do you suggest??

You will need the assistance of an attorney to assist you in the matter. Have the report reviewed by an expert with experience in making such evaluations. This expert should be able to explain why the evaluation is either incorrect or is nor correct. You have little chance of success without an attorney and an expert witness.
