Legal Question in Family Law in California

minors Council brings up false Suicide allegation

What can be done about a court appointed minors council who called an exparte, did not notify mother, made a very false accusation of 15 yr old wanting to commit suicide. Son adamently denied the accusation. He does not want her involved he stated feeling intimidated by his attorney. Minors councel is very chummy with father and VERY against the mother. Mom did not have legal council till the day before the exparte. Son has flip flopped about where he wants to live. Minors lawyer ONLY states wanting to live with father. Mother won the exparte. Son has been in mothers care all his life. Father moved 3 hours away to nowheres land. Can Minors Council get in trouble for lying? How does my son get a REAL say??, although its he flip flops, thats how it should be stated not the he adamently wants to be with father... HELP!! She is making it way harder. Emotions are running higher on all 3 parties since she has been involved.

Re: minors Council brings up false Suicide allegation

this is pretty common with appointed counsel but unless the kid is smart enough to stop flip flopping, there is little you can do.
