property division

I would like to know how the courts view the home in case of a divorce. I am a working mother with 2 children comptiplating a divorce. was wondering what i might exspect in terms of how the courts divide the family home

If the home is community property, acquired during the marriage, the home is generally sold and the equity split between the parties. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
