Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

property damage

went to a nationally recognized oil changer for my usual oil change. upon finishing their work, the manager asked another employee to ''guide this gentleman out'' of the work bay. basically i watched the hand signals and verbal directions from the employee as he guided me out of the work bay. well as we neared a tall curb,i asked''am i clear to make it?'' the employee stated , ''yeah your clear.'' so as i drove forward, my car hit this tall curb and sustained substantial damage to the front bumper cover. i talked with the manager,he called his regional manager and they concluded that there is nothing that they can do. they said it was my fault. i had the police come and take and incident report for my insurance. so are they liable for the damage because i was following the directions from their employee? can i sue in small claims? is it worth the $600.00 repair bill?

Re: property damage

It's worth a shot in small claim court.
