Legal Question in Insurance Law in California

I went to a gathering at a friend's house and knew several people at the meeting, but not all of them. I stayed about 3 hrs. and during that time had less than two beers. I left the meeting feeling sick. On the way home became nauseated, seeing white spots, threw up and blacked out. I remember hitting a wall, but blacked out and found myself in the parking lot of a business. My apartment was close by and I drove home, still sick, arriving at about 11:00 p.m. I work up, white as a ghost, took a shower and when I went to my car, it has damage. I think I was drugged & I'm making an appointment at the doctor's today. But, in the meantime, I want to report this to my insurance company, and if someone did drug me, I think I should make a police report. What do I say to the insurance company? What do I say to the police, if drugged? I'm worried and don't know what steps to take at this time. There's so many questions: Who will do what if I was drugged, the insurance company, the police? I want to be honest with the police, but I'm concerned that they may think I was drunk, which I wasn't. I felt it important to go to the doctors, and perhaps they can verify if in fact drugs were involved. I don't know how long drug tests take, but I need to report this to my insurance company as soon as possible. I'm just not sure what I saw to them.

You need to get to a doctor immediately. You should have gone to an ER as soon as you had the accident. The conversation with the doctor will be confidential. Have the tests done and get the doctor's report, then you'll know better what to do and you'll have more information for those of us here answering questions to go on.
