Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Federal Holidays Honored by Private/Public Companies

Do private/public companies have to legally give federal holidays as paid days

off? Also, is there a general idea that a majority of employers give those days

off even if it's not required by law? Is there a way to find out what percentage

do?
