Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Pizza Hut Paycheck Never Given To Me

A friend of mines got their paycheck in the laundry, and then told the store manager about it the next day. The store manager said he'll take care of it. From there on, everytime she will go ask the store manager about the check, he'll make an excuse or change subject. The manager later got fired for unrelated reasons. The store went through 2 more store managers, to which, both those new managers were told about the missing check, and plus the Area Couch and the Human Resource Personnel were both notify about the missing check too. Been 1 and a half year and still no check. Check was $200, so how much can Pizza Hut be sue for?

Re: Pizza Hut Paycheck Never Given To Me

We have a pending case where this happened to our client. Our client worked in the Banning, CA area. I think the name of her employer was something like (Pizza Hut of Kansas-probably a franchisee) This way of doing business is illegal and subject o to waiting time penalties under L.C. 203.
