Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

Problem Tenant

I Manage and live in a small mobile home park.

I have a tenant who has become chronic with ''complaints'' against other tenants which RARELY consist of any rules or laws being broken.

99% are petty !

I have explained this to him, with every complaint made. However he still calls, with the same complaints over and over ! 3 to 4 calls a day. The complaints range from -

How long a guests has been visiting another tenant,

Another tenant ''parked in a neighbors driveway- (they had permission)

Mistaken identities of people who he believed to have been banned from the park, ( and were not )

He calls late at night to complain about one neighbor who comes home from work around 11pm to complain about them shutting their car door !

Or how many visitors cars are parked at another tenants residence ( legally! )

Most of his complaints, besides being non-enforceable? Are NONE of his business.! Yes, I have told him that too, as I re-explain that no laws or park rules have been broken. There is nothing I can ''enforce'' ! !

Is there any recourse / action I can take towards this mans insistent, incessant complaints? Are there any nuiscance laws or any laws or protection regarding harassing a manager? Thank you

Re: Problem Tenant

I have clients like your tenant, and I know how you feel.

See if your owner will permits giving him notice (provided you can evict).

Other than that, there is an eviction for being a nuisance, but you will need a compassionate owner.

Talk to the owner, get his/her permission would be #1. Get used to it #2. Get another job #3.

Everything else would land you in jail, and isn't worth it.

GOOD LUCK!
