If a tenant in San Pablo Ca has a dog and it does damage to someone or their property who is liable the tenant or the landlord?

The primary liability is with the owner of the dog, but if you knew of the dog and the likelihood of it causing the problems that it did, then you too would be negligent. Since you have more assets than the tenant, a lawyer would sue both of you but seek to collect the entire juggment from you.
