Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

Moblie Home Investment

i have a friend that bought a mobile home with a former boyfriend.this was a cash purchase and they both put in equal shares into the purchase. both of their names are on the title and he never moved into this home [he lives in another that also shares both their names on title].she has lived in the home and paid the rent for the lot space throughout ownership. he now has told her that he wants her to move out and that he owns the home. again, both of their names are on the title and he now feels that he can come and go[into her home] as he pleases. is this legal for him

Re: Moblie Home Investment

She should change the locks on the doors. If that does not keep him out, then she should obtain a restraining order to keep him out. Since they had a dating relationship, any violence woudld be domestic violence.

She should then suggest that he transfer ownership of the mobile she lives to her, and she will transfer ownership of the other mobilehome to him. If he does not agree then she will need to hire an attorney to help her resolve the issue.
