Her Word Versus His

In a physical abuse accusation, where there is no physical evidence or witnesses involved, is a her word v.s his word have any grounds to file charges?

You pose an interesting question. In cases that involve her word vs. his word, there may be a valid claim. Unfortunately however, lawyers like to take cases that have evidence (beyond he said/she said) because we put a lot of time, energy and often our own money into prosecuting cases and as such, we like to have the odds in our favor when we are in front of a judge and jury. With she said, he said cases, it is a very hard sell to the court. As such, these type of cases are most often not the best proposition for lawyers. I would suggest you contact other attorneys and gather more opinions as soon as possible. Good luck.
