Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
Fix it Ticket
I received a fix it ticket for expired registration. I was given a timeperiod in which I needed to have the problem fixed. I did take care of it within the required time and I thought the action was finished. Now I just received a failure to appear notice on my fix it ticket. If I go to the court and show proof It was taken care of within the time period; Will the court lower my $500 fine?

Re: Fix it Ticket
Going to court will help reduce the fine. This is especially true if you have a good reason for not appearing at court as required.
