locking a child in a car
Is there any specific law that effectively states that it is prohibited by law to lock
a child in a parked car and leave that child unattended for any period of time?

Re: locking a child in a car
Vechicle code section 15620 refers to leaving a child in a car un attended. If the child is injured or the circumstances present a high risk of injury to the child then Penal code Section 273a may apply.
