Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Guardianship forms

I hired a paralegal to prepare guardianship forms for me and he messed them up and listed innacurate information on them. He filed them with Kern County and there is a court date already. How do I amend these forms and what forms do I use to correct the errors made by this paralegal?

Re: Guardianship forms

Paralegals don't practice law. Lawyers do. Paralegals should be doing no more than filling out forms as you direct them. That being said, you have to file an amended petition. Guardianships can be complex and you should probably avail yourself of the services of a lawyer. The fees should be paid from the estate of the incompetent person.
