Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

If nieces listed as "nieces" in their uncles will should they recieve notice of his probate? If they didn't recieve notice what can gthey do about it? Who's fault for no notice would this be on?

It would be on the attorney for the executor to prove to the court that she had sent the required notices to the last known addresses for each beneficiary. You can each file a " request for special notice" and list your current addresses, to make sure it doesn't happen again. If you wind up getting exactly what your share was under the terms of the will, no harm and no foul.
