Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Myself and three other sibling made an oral agreement. We were to share repairs of our deceased parents home. Since my husband and I paid for all the repairs from 2003 - 2007.Including all back and current property taxes. Now they do not want to pay their share. We are in Probate they are claiming the stature of limitations has run out. This money was to be paid once Probate was finished. I need to know if there is a stature of limitations and when did it start ? Thank you.

If the oral agreement was that you be repaid when the house was to be sold in probate the statute for filing claims is four months from the date letters were issued.
