Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

I had a QME last December, it was "recommended" that I receive another 6 sessions of mental therapy. My attorney stated that if I do not complete the sessions my case would be dropped and I would not be entitled to a settlement- is this true?

No, there is nothing in the Labor Code about the claim being 'dropped' (or dismissed for failure to complete any treatment recommendation.

A Qualified Medical Evaluation is only one opinion as to what treatment might work best, it isn't an order from a judge.
