Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

ready for settlement

I was injured a couple of months after the new W/C law took effect almost 3 years ago. I had 2 knee surgeries and will need knee replacement in the future. The original offer said that I will need loft of future medical treatments. If the Ins. Co. buys out the claim, how much should i expect them to offer? I am 36y.o.

Re: ready for settlement

I recommend that you be properly evaluated by an impartial AME which then one can properly rate your case for your permanent disability. Normally the AME report would determine the nature and extent of future treatment you need. It is not really possible to guess what kind of settlement you are entitled to. Feel free to call us at 213.388.7070 for a free consultation.
