If a workers compensation injury prevents an employee from driving, who is to provide transportation to and from work?

It is a difficult question and not easily answered. If an employee needs someone to drive to work, is that employee really able to work? My take is that the employee is still TTD. If the employee has reached maximum medical improvement, in other words, is Permanent and Stationary, and cannot drive to work, the employer has no responsibility to provide transportation and the employee is probably out of a job.
