I would like to know if A Settlement from workers compensation,means that a person automatically resigned?

A workers' compensation settlement is not an automatic death sentence for your employment. If you injured yourself during the coverage of carrier A, but at the time of settlement your employer now uses carrier B, then it is possible to continue working with the same employer.

If you stip (Not a complete buyout of your P.D., future med, etc.) the case, it is possible to continue with the same employer.
