Does commercial advertising have the same First Amendment protection as political speech? If not, how can commercial advertising speech be restricted?

Legislative restrictions on political speech are subject to greater scrutiny than commercial speech. I suggest you read a US Supreme Court case called Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corp. v. Public Service Commission, 447 U.S. 557 (1980). Good luck.
