Legal Question in Family Law in Colorado

custody

I have full custody of my 2 kids and my ex husband is an alcoholic and had been sober for a while but has since stared drinking again. I don't want my kids around that ,it is causeing problems. My kids dont want to go to his house anymore. Since I have full custody and he only has visitation do I have to make them go?

You are obligated to follow the court's custody and parenting time plan for your children, which means that the father's visitation rights must be respected. However, you should immediately request that the court change the custody and parenting time arrangement, in the best interest of the children, so that the visitations are either restricted or conducted with a court-appointed monitor.
