Legal Question in Family Law in Colorado

How to get out of this mess.

How long can a wife who has moved out of the house, left her daughter in the care of the father, takes no household responsibility or care for the child keep a divorce in process for over 7 years? The husband has been beaten, harrassed, shot at and is almost ready to be fired from his job because of what has been happening to him. Are there NO laws for the husband and the child ? What can he do or who can he talk to? This has been going on for seven years and the judge, the DA ,social services and the police can do nothing to help him out? He needs help ???

Re: How to get out of this mess.

Someone has been giving you the wrong story. It is nearly impossible for a divorce to be pending for 7 years. Also, it is not believable that the authorities will not respond to complaints with evidence of physical abuse and domestic violence.

I suggest you have the husband contact us for a no-cost/obligation cased consultation. We will not respond further to other than the husband on this topic.

Email us for a consultation with our CO attorney.
