Legal Question in Family Law in Colorado

Wife and I filed for divorce in El Paso County on 10/26. At that time we were in full agreement on everything filed with the court, including the Separation Agreement. My salary is 125k per year, hers is 48k per year. We have 2 homes that we agreed to allow her to take the 100k debt with 100k equity home and I would take the $260k debt with $30k equity home. We were also splitting the marital debt 50/50 with each taking about $30k each. A bulk of the credit card debt that we each are taking was for improvements made to the home she is taking because initially it was intended to be an investment property(flip). In total I had agreed to take $290k of debt with $30k equity and she would take $130k debt with $100k equity.

She has now sought legal counsel is is asking for maintenance of $750 per month. According to the maintenance calculator, She would be eligible for 18 months at $805 per month. I would agree to this IF the equity in the homes was split 50/50

You didn't actually ask a question....

Your position is not unreasonable, but you are at a disadvantage negotiating with an attorney who has more experience then you do. This is even more the case if you go to trial. You have a lot of money on the line. You should hire a lawyer.
