Third Degree Assault

What are the consequences for this charge? I am a first time offender and have never used my AR and I did not cause any serious harm.

Re: Third Degree Assault

CGSA 53a-61 is class A misdemeanor. There is an up to a year in jail possibility plus a possible fine. How old was the person you assaulted. This may factor in to your answer. Please feel free to contact us with any other questions. You may not need to use your AR. - Max
