Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

Adolesent Custody Rights - Follow Up

Hello,

This is a follow up to a previous question that I have asked on this network. Okay, so I am currently at my mom's and my father has full physical custody. She believes that she has full rights to hold me there. My dad wants me to come back, but does not want to anger her. When I told her that I have the full right to go to my dad's, but she insists that I do not. In addition to this, she is starting to show anger towards me and is also acting very coldly towards me. Also she is laughing at me and when I tell her to please not, she will laugh and just say that I am ''so funny''. This is making me feel very uncomfortable and like high school at home. I just want to know if there is anything I can do to forcefully get me back to my dad's (by force I mean legal). If this is impossible, then what can I do about this. I am starting to think about this as psycological abuse (she is a psycologist). Is there anything I can do at all? Also if it helps, I am 15 and mid-September I will be 16.

Thank You for Your Time

You need to contact your guardian ad litem to discuss your custody situation. This is your attorney appointed by the court to protect your interests. If you are not sure who you are guardian ad litem is, you can call the court, or more likely you can ask your father.
