Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

Divorce with debt, slander and abuse

My husband has a sole proprietor business, he is verbally abusive, and he bad mouths me to others and kids (is this slander?)

He is threatening with making me responsible for half his personal and business debt. I have done his accounting for free, raising 2 kids 12 and 10 married for 17 years. We have a house he wants to sell I do not. He has threatened to kill me then to burn the house down. I am on disability but I can raise my kids with out any problems. I have made arrangements with my CCs he refuses to do so with his. What are my rights and possibilities.

Your question is extremely broad as you refer to both divorce and defamation law in your question. Boths areas require more space than that allowed here online. If you would like to submit a more focused question, you could do so to [email protected].
