Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

who know best divorce me or my lawyer

I filed for divorce under grounds of (1) The marriage has broken down irretrievably (2) Adultery; (3) Intolerable cruelty; i spoke to a lawyer yestersday and i was told that adultry intolerable cruelty usually get's thrown out in court. throughtout my marriage i was abuse i have 2 police report of my husband arrest also i have proof that he committed adultery more than once the female that he slept with told me personal i also have e-mails, phone record and bank statement to prove that he cheated, if i present all these fact to court why would a judge throw it out. i strongly beileve that on what i stand for, so why should i hire a lawyer when i cna do it myself. please let me know what chances i have if i present myself with all these facts, or should i just get a lawyer that knows best.

It sounds like you have valid facts to show adultery and or intolerable cruelty. I cannot assess your chances of success merely by looking at the paragraph of information you submitted. I would need to see all of the information. As far as hiring counsel, if you want the job done correctly, then you hire counsel. If you attempt to represent yourself, you risk making many costly mistakes. After all, you are consulting this site for a reason.
