Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Connecticut

Inappropriate Touch

Recently I had an issue at work, my boss has been, for several months, inappropriately touching and commenting towards me. I went to someone and told them, they intern told the head of the department and HR. I told HR what happened. Now my work environment is more hostile than ever. I am treated differently and I believe that more people know than what I am aware of. How do I handle my job situation?

Re: Inappropriate Touch

It's not clear what you mean by "inappropriate." You also didn't say whether you asked your supervisor to stop before complaining. You didn't say what plan the company had in place to deal with sex harassment allegations, what steps the company took or, most important, whether the conduct has now stopped.

Taken at face value, your story may outline a claim for sexual harassment. There are at least three sides to all of these stories, however, and without more specifics abut what your supervisor did, what you did, and what the company's response was, it's difficult to make any meaningful assessment.
