If I receive a DUI / DWI in the District of Columbia can my drivers license in the state of Colorado be suspended.

Certainly, if Colorado DMV learns of the DC suspension and their rules require that as a result of the suspension of your DC driving privileges, that your license must also be suspended in Colorado.
