Legal Question in Disability Law in Florida

Clinical Depression, Leave of absence.

I worked for a company that gave me a leave

of absence because I was diagnosed by the

company Doctor with Clinical Depression, I

was told not to worry about my job and to

just concentrate on getting better and once I

got a Doctor's release I could return back to

work. Once I got better and was ready to

return back to work I was told that they were

not going to take me back because of a

dependability factor. Please let me know if I

can take any legal action.

Re: Clinical Depression, Leave of absence.

I would recommend you contact EEOC in Miami or Tampa and make a complaint under the ADA. I think it is premature to consider a lawsuit at this time.
