Legal Question in Business Law in Florida

Old Corporation

I am invovled in a lawsuit on an old corporation. Even though I donot have an attorney the oppsoing attorney keeps serving me with requests. If i send into the state and pay my money to have me dropped as registered agent and officer, whom will the opposing attorney be able to serve/mail motions to? I want to let them go ahead and get a default judgement and leave me alone. I am protect personally because I listed thier suit against me in my bankruptcy and was granted a release from the suit by the judge.

You should not rely on or take any action based on this communication without first presenting all relevant details to a competent attorney in your jurisdiction, receiving such attorney's individualized advice for you, and establishing an attorney-client relationship. By reading this "Response" to your question or comment, you agree that the opinion expressed herein and/or the information contained in this response is not intended to, nor does it, create any attorney-client relationship with the law firm of Gonzalez & Associates, P.A. or any of its attorneys, nor does it constitute legal advice to any person or entity reviewing such information, nor will it be considered an attorney-client privileged communication. If you do not agree with the foregoing, then you are instructed to stop here, and do not read any further.

If you want the plaintiff to get a default judgment, then why are you wasting your time doing anything relating to the lawsuit? Why would you go through the trouble of changing the corporation's registered agents or officers (which might suggest you have something to hide)? You may want to discuss this matter with your bankruptcy counsel.
