Is there a statue of limitation on being required to pay a medical doctor bill? A lawyer has contacted me regarding a medical doctor bill from 1998. The bill is from a doctor in Delaware. I am a resident of Florida

I believe the statute has expired on a 1998 bill if no payments have been made since then.
