Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

If I was supposedly stopped for running a stop sign, which I didn't and wasn't issued a traffic ticket.

However during the traffic stopped the officer asked me to get out of the vehicle and immediately began searching my vehicle w/o consent, then said he found a weed pipe, which I don't know where it came from, he then placed me in Cuffs but did not read me my rights and took me to jail.. what can be done.. can charges be dropped?

Hello-Any lawyer would need to read the arresting officer's narrative prior to giving you an answer as to what can be done for you. If there was no probable cause for the stop...or the search, then an atty can file a motion and have a hearing before the judge. It may be that a negotiated disp. can be reached with the Assist. St. Atty. The controlling factors would be whether they have a good case, was there any other paraph. or illegal stuff found & whether you have any prior record.
