Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I have a Child Support Order including shared parental responsibility from another state. My child lives with me in Miami, Florida. However this support order took about 4 years to be entered since the other parent kept making it difficult for child support services, and due to the case being out of state. My question is under florida law, how can i request for the court to grant retro pay?i know under florida law i can request up to two years from when i first filed for child support, that making it around 5 years. Out of state order just indicates child support commencing Nov 2012. Thank you.

Florida cannot order retro now because there already is an order in place. Contact my office for free consultation 727-446-7659

You must first domesticate the foreign order in Florida.

YOu must domesticate the foreign order in Florida and then you need to go after the back support that you were not paid. You probably have a temporary order for support on record and need to bring that forward.
