my child's father stole his social security card and is now using it to obtain an apartment. He has no legal rights to the child and is behind in child support payments, yet is trying to obtain custody, what should i do first?

How is he trying to obtain custody? Did he file a petition? If so, you need to answer that petition. You probably need to consult an attorney. Feel free to call my office.
