What is the difference between filing a child support order with the state of FL vs. the county that I live in?

You mean filing it in family court vs. using DOR to file for child support for you? I don't understand your question.

The order itself always gets filed with the county you live in. It only gets sent to the state (along with the county clerk) when it's filed with an income deduction order.
