Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
hi..my ex husband just filed a motion to recuse our judge after judge made a decicion in our case in my favor,they close the case ,but now says he filed this because the judge is married to his ex attorney.Is he right about the judge being disqualify and assign my case to another judge and re do the same hearing again?..thanks

Can't see where this would influence the judge. More than likely if he did not like the outcome he could file a motion to set aside the judgment until a hearing could be held on the matter but if the file has closed, he would have to reopen the case and file a modification of judgment.
