Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

is there a Fla law to stop adult bullying/stalking of a neighbor? My son is 22 & for financial reasons has to live with his father in a 40+ park. His 40 something neighbor who is gay (my son is not) continues to leave voice mail messages & text messages to my son (sometimes more than 20 daily) threatening to have him turned into the 'park board' so he is kicked out of the park if my son doesn't comply with his demands. This man stalks my son watching his every move, has walked in on him while he was in the shower, goes into the house after knocking if he or his dad doesn't answer. My son has had problems with the law and is on probation so he is trying his best to stay out of trouble, but I have heard the vulgar voice mail messages this neighbor leaves him and have read the nasty text messages threatening him then telling him he 'loves' him, it's frightening and my son feels he has to always comply with this man or he will get him and his dad in trouble for letting him stay with him. My son doesn't think he has any other choice, but this bullying/stalking has to stop for all of our peace of mind & livelihood.

I am not sure what you mean by "complying with his demands". Is your son engaging in sexual acts to avoid trouble? I would think that filing a complaint with the police would be adequate as this person is stalking your son and has unlawfully entered into your home. You could also seek a restraining order. Has he made any physical threats? Do you have the voice recordings of his calls? Be sure to keep those as they are powerful evidence and admitable because he knows he is being recorded when he leaves those messages.
