Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

A person owes me alot of money and is not paying
I took our a loan for 20,000 to help someone, who promised to pay me back weekly and they are not doing it. Is there something I can do? Someone had mentioned filing a judgement against them? How would I do that?

You must bring a lawsuit against them.
