Re: social security

You'll want to first apply for your permanent residence. As part of the process, you'll receive an interim employment authorization document which will allow you to obtain a social security number at the local Social Security Administration.

Re: social security

After marriage to a US citizen you will need to file an I-130 immigrant visa petition, an I-485 application to adjust status, and a I-765 application for employment authorization. Once that is issued you can then take it to the social security office for a number to be issued to you. If you would like assistance please contact my office.
